I want to install SAP JAVA PI 7.5 at SPS03.
Is there a way to do this directly, without having to install the base version (SPS00) then upgrading to SPS03?

Hi Paul,
not as far as I know. If there is not a specific SR released, then you install the basic version and update afterwards. You can calculate a new system using the maintenance planner, but as far as I know it is still a two step approach.
This can also be verified in the installation guides in chapters "Installation Using a Stack Configuration File" and "Downloading Software Packages for a Maintenance
Planner Transaction".
Best regards,
Andreas

Hi Andreas,
Thanks, I have seen https://blogs.sap.com/2016/10/21/up-to-date-installation-2/ which says the same - i.e. you can define your target SPS along with a new system but you still have to install the vanilla system then patch it afterwards.
Thanks.

in context with "specific SR": note 2322469 shows the details of the available service releases. In fact, it lists the different notes which contain the details for ERP, SRM, BW and so on.

Hi Paul,
For NW I use SAP Note 789220.
You can always add more SPs via Maintenance Planner, to have more than the initial installation medias.
