France Localization - FEC Reporting

Hello Team -

We have a requirement to generate FEC file in France for our local reporting purposes. We have gone live with S/4 HANA 1709 version and at the time of implementation we didn't implement country version for France. Hence I have below questions that I am seeking clarifications for:

1. Does SAP offer a standard out of the box solution for creating FEC file in France? If yes, can you please share the notes etc. that would need to be implemented? I went on the SAP Globalization web page where I was navigated to but it doesn't provide clear guidance and only talks about the capabilities on a very high level

2. Do we need to implement country - France version in order to access the solution?

3. If country version is to be implemented, is it possible to do so if you have already posted transactions? Will the system allow you to do so?

If you can please share your experiences and/or steps involved in going through this activity, that would be very much appreciated!

Hello aakashp28,

SAP provides solution to generate FEC with DART. SAP notes implementation and DART configuration are prerequisites.Please find more details in my blog.

If you are not familiar with DART or you do not have the resources to implement all prerequisites properly, the FEC software solution by TJC is good support for tax and audit professionals, particularly when having to meet the tight deadlines imposed by the French Tax Authorities.

Please look at OSS Note below for the FAQ and what needs to be done for FEC Implementation

The below OSS Note talks about implementation sequence, in which notes need to be implemented depending on the version of your system

You do need to do configuration, but the same is mentioned in the OSS notes. I do not see if the data is posted to implement FEC requirements. This is an standard product with BADI available as well to tailor your business requirements.

These OSS notes are for ECC or lower. Is there no support for FEC in S/4HANA?
