How to prevent RLTs overruling AB confirmations on PO's

We have an issue where the RLT (planned leadtime) is overwriting the AB confirmation (confirmed ETA) in the PO item line details.
For instance;

It's currently 15.02.2017.
The AB confirmation date is 25.02.2017
The RLT of the material is 5 working days

With this scenario, the ETA to our customers shown will be 22.02.2017.
Tomorrow the ETA to our customer shown will be 23.02.2017 until eventually the RLT will be same or smaller than 25.02.2017.
Only when the AB confirmation is within the 5 working day the RLT working day period the actual AB confirmation will be shown to the customer.

This is related to the Availability Scope check settings.
We currently have (not sure if this is a variable setting or a set of presets that comes with SAP):
Z1 - Check stock - Inbound - PO - RLT - *no expired PO
Z3 - Check stock - Inbound - PO - *shows expired PO
Z4 - Check stock - *no expired PO
Z5 - Check stock - Inbound - *no expired PO
Z6 - Check stock - Inbound - PO - *expired PO

Problem is, with all of the check's which involve the RLT, the above PO is valid.
And if we don't use the RLT, no ETA will be visible to our customers when there's no stock available, which we don't want.

Is there any setting (or scope of check) preventing the RLT overruling the AB confirmation if the leadtime is actually longer?
