Does anyone has experience with buildig in an IF clause in a date rule XML expression?
If dateA is set take date A Else take date B.
The business process is contract management. In many cases the contract is extended with a contract line item. This line item gets a billing start date of the start date of the contract. This as a result of the underlying date rules. This leads to unwanted
billed retroactively.
In some cases we do want this. So we want to check the presence of a date type. When this date type is present it should used as billing start date but when this date type is not filled we want todays date to be the billing start date of the new contract line item.
