Hello SAP Guru's,
We're in a situation where we want to stop a particular PO doc type (that is, when a PO is created with this particular doc type, a PIR gets generated/updated) henceforth creating a TLANE in APO.
We have an integration model activated for PIR's against Vendors that creates a TLANE in APO. That's how we derive TLANE's automatically across the network.
And multiple creation of PO's (against this particular PO doc type) for different vendors creates multiple tlanes. And business has to spend considerable time in setting up the priorities on original TLANE so as to make it relevant for APO to derive receipts.
1. Is there a way we can stop creation of multiple PIR's against a particular doc type? We know we can rather derive TLANES from contracts to avoid this. Plus we can restrict it user wise, but not document type. Thereby it will affect all PO doc types. BUt our situation is to restrict this particular PO doc type only.
2. If 1 is not possible, can we restrict creation of TLANES for this particular doc type. We know there is a BADI but that would stop all TLANE creation, and not just this particular doc type.
Thanks,
Clarification on point 2: There apparently is no way to stop TLANE creation for a particular PO Doc type creation, thereby creating PIR and hence TLANE creation.
