Have a query on the significance of Authorization Type for Microsoft Azure. Once Azure selected and the Subscription ID provided, there are two 'options' available under Authorization type to establish the connection to the cloud provider, and the help says:
1. Standard Authorization includes only basic permissions to create and manage solution instances.
2. Extended Authorization for Kubernetes Cluster includes additional permissions to create and manage solution instances with Kubernetes clusters
When creating instance for SAP Data Intelligence, which one is recommended? Is it like Standard for setting up the account communication for first time, and then Extended for setting up the instance.
The getting started pdf guide for SAP Data Intelligence, says in section 2.1.2 - When you connect from SAP Cloud Appliance Library to Microsoft Azure, you need to use authorization type Extended Authorization for Kubernetes Cluster.
However, in the same section - the link to FAQ: https://wiki.scn.sap.com/wiki/display/SAPCAL/FAQ+-+Specific+questions+for+Microsoft+Azure - again does not differentiate or recommend which one to use.
When standard authorization is needed?

Madhav
The wiki page you have linked to refers to solutions hosted via SAP CAL in general. However, for specifically deploying SAP Data Intelligence you need to use "Extended Authorization".
