Change Project to enable multiple billers

I'm needing help within the Project Management function to change an existing project created which is set to released to enable multiple client?

Hi keryks,

Once a Project is set to status Started or Released, some fields become “Read-Only”, such as the project ID, project type, organizational assignments, and the Billable field including Customer information.

So you cannot enable the multiple clients once the Project is Released. The only option is to cancel the Existing project and create a New Project.

Also once project or project task released they will be communicated to a lot of applications and objects FIN,HCM,SRM,CRM with responsible unit so that any actuals Time recoding, expense, procurement, sales on the task would be linked with cost center. The reporting unit is directly linked to financial accounting object hence the system will not allow you to change the Reporting Unit once the project is released.

Note:- A change in the backend of your system is not an option since it would lead to inconsistencies from an accounting point of view.
