HCM Workflow for Automatic Email generation

Is it available Standard workflow or can we develop a workflow for the following scenario,

"Automatic email generation if an employee absents more than company allowed dates?"

Hi, Workflow is user/task oriented for approval process. Someone has to initiate a task and it will flow as per flowchart specified. Your requirement requires some kind of automation.

However you can write a abap program to check attendance records(infotype 2011) with your specified condition and send an email to concerned employee if it exceeds certain days. This program can be scheduled in background to execute at some interval, to do it repeatedly.

You can check with your abaper and hr consultant.
