Which fiori app is recommended for transactional, multiple tab ui using bapi updates.

I need to create custom fiori app for a standard tcode in IS-retail similar to mm01/02. What kind of app is recommended. It should also have transaction capability using Bapi and multiple tabs to enter different type of data.

  • I would like to add to Gregor. You shall go through design process with your customer. Understand their requirement and design. In most projects they have an idea in their mind, what they require is a UX designer. BUILD tool can be a great choice. You can draft a design and propose.

For your approach there can be many designs or template. What suits your customer is required.

For a design phase, it is more and more involvement of your team and business users and it involves lot of requirement analysis like, how many fields, most used fields, most important , customization on actual tcodes, do they prefer mobile view or only desktop or tablet.

These are the thoughts that should be captured before starting with build of a fiori app.

I would suggest you start learning with the Fiori Design Guideline at Overview – Layouts, Floorplans, and Frameworks.
