Why not use the dropdown component instead of the the filter panel if it must be just one selection?

Hi Tammy,

I just came across this problem too. We use a dropdown component right now but the list of members exceeds 10.000 entries. If you try to load them all on startup the Design studio becomes horribly slow. If you cut the maximum number of entries the customer is likely to miss some entries.

Thus I was thinking about to replace it with a filter panel component but still selection needs to be single items only.

So I'm somewhat stuck as neither dropdown nor filter panel fit.
