Internal requirements

Hi Sapians,

I just want to know the ways of creating internal requirements?

Like creating PR is one of the ways to rise internal requirements, on what basis they are going to rise the internal request and in which form.

Thank you in advance.

Do you mean "internal requirements" from a PM/CS perspective?

If so, then this generally means labour (via confirmations) and spare parts from the warehouse (via reservations and GIs) i.e. resources within the business.

PRs/POs/service are generally considered external requirements i.e. external of the business.

Creating reservation for material is another one example.

Production order, process order and plant maintenance order are internal one too as to cater business process requirements

Hi, do you mean raising requirements for 'Internal maintenance work'?

If that's so, you can create a Purchase Requisition for procuring, say the materials those are needed for maintenance, but are running out in stock. Later on this PR gets converted to Purchase Order and then procurement cycle takes its own sequence of events.

If that's about internal material requirements, you can simple reserve required material which is stocked.

Further you can also procure services, if required, to carry out internal maintenance. This totally depends on what your maintenance requirements are. Hope this helps.
