Scanner is not recognized by SAP GUI.

The HP ScanJet Pro 4500 fn1 scanner is not recognized by SAP GUI 750. Installing all the drivers (TWAIN, basic drivers) on the HP site does not work the same. On the other hand, the HP ScanJet 7500 model is recognized.

  • I didn't know that a scanner had to be recognized by SAP GUI, I thought that a scanner was acting like an "automatic keyboard".

    2. HP ScanJet Pro 4500 getting recognized normal MS word or wordpad and then try with latest version of SAPGUI 7.60
