I have a situation where the load planners end up assigning a delivery to multiple delivery groups;
I want a delivery to be assigned to only 1 delivery group, while each delivery group can contain multiple deliveries.
The business case example is that planners create a group that contains many deliveries. A truck may do a round trip and contains many deliveries. We print a picking list by adding all these deliveries to a group, and then dispatching the whole group and that deliveries that it contains. Before we have issued a delivery, the planners assign the same delivery to another group in error. Because we have a large planning department, this happens often and results in incorrect picking.
Can anyone please advise me how I can stop this from happening?
