Dear experts,

i am configuring ewa for abap system but i am stucked in below steps.

I am totally new to ewa configuration.Please suggest on it.

Hi Prashant,

DVM tells you the details of the objects for which data can be archived or deleted. If you have a large volume of data on managed system, you can enable it in EWA and plan the archival accordingly. The purpose is to reduce the amount of data, so it won't be much helpful if the data growth is not huge or you are not planning to archive anything for some business reasons.

what about business process analysis step ?

BPA is required only when you are willing to use EWA for business process benchmarking of business docs, trend and age analysis of those documents etc. Just activating the EWA in solman_setup will not help . you need to set the KPIs according your requirement.
