Record can not be saved because no of hours=0

Hello Gurus,

I have an issue where user is entering absent type time in CAT2 transaction where he is entering the value 8 hours but that value changes to Zero and an error message show as Record can not be saved because no of hours=0

    Record can not be saved because no of hours=0

    Message no LR249.

    Diagnosis.

    You have

    *Created a record with number of hours as zero, or

    *Recorded click times for which the system has calculated a number of hours equal to zero,since the clock times are non working time.

    System response:-

    The system does not permit records with a number of hours equal to zero to be in the time sheet.

    Above is the message appears.

    Hello Pete,

    Currently this issue is raised for 1 User.

    But looks this is for all users.

    Actually user is trying to add hours for Saturday and Sunday where allocated hours are "Zero" and user is trying to add holiday absent type with 8 hours here it is getting the error message.

    Check the configuration settings of the Absence Type in the IMG via: Define Absence Types
