Planning File Entry - Not NETCH indicator updated with Good Issues

Hi gurus,

Can anyone explain me when the indicator NETCH will be updated in Planning File entry table(tcode-MD21) for a material in a specific plant when I do goods issues for delivery (movement 601), this indicator is not updated in planning file entries. Can anyone suggest me what could be the reason for this?

MD04 & MD05 are not equal (stocks different due to deliveries done) and MRP Run not change situation because NETCH indicator in Planning File Entry is not marked. Why?

Please read SAP consulting note -27153 - Planning file entries from Inventory Management

Movement 601 will only trigger the update of the planning file if it differs by date or quantity from the planned.

On the customizing transaction OMIY, there is a setting called "PFE Always" that can be used to control the update of the planning file entries. If this flag is set, the planning file will be always updated when a goods movement is posted.

Please note that you may have a impact on the MRP run performance, as more material will be planned due to this.

After that post a goods issue for a delivery, and check if 'Net change planning indicator' is set for planning file entry.
