Restrict purchase services/products by sales unit or company

Hi community,

I have a question regarding the products and services portfolio. If we take as example services that are activated for sales, you can restrict the selection of the service by sales unit, which is really useful since when you create a sales order it will only show the list of services activated by the sales unit you have selected.

In my case, we operate in the same ByD tenant with multiple companies and we cannot restrict the list of purchase services by company or purchase unit, and it can be a mess when selecting a purchase service that is not activated for the company but is showing up in the services list anyway. My question is the following: is there a way to restrict the purchase products/services list in the system to only show those activated by the company we are doing the purchase?

After a deep search in the system or SAP library I haven't found relevant information about it.

Hi Alex,

In the Business Role, You have the flexibility to change restrictions by choose a Restriction Rule, provided the work center view has access context assigned to it.

Kindly check, whether your work center view is having these options. Using 99 rule, you can assign a specific set of Org unit to determine the restrictions.

Hi Palanikumar,

I work with role restrictions but I see no work center named "Suppl Planning". Just to be clear, what I would like to restrict is the list of purchasing products to only the company you are doing the purchase in the "New Purchase Order" view. As you can see, the list is 286 different products but for this company, I have only activated 50 approximately although I can see all of them.
