EXCEL DATA CACHE in to a WORD TABLE - COLUMN WIDTH ISSUE

87 Views Last edit Jul 28, 2020 at 10:56 PM 2 rev

Dear All,

While inserting a data cache in to the word document as a table, The column width in Excel (those columns are kind of used as separators with 0.06cms) is not the same after importing to Word.

Below was the datacache we are working on. The whole table is under the BIP* name range

We are adding a Table with Data link above data cache in the work document. Every thing looks good except the width of the columns (eg:COLUMN Q, COLUMN S etc.,). In excel the width was 0.06cms but in word the minimal width of column seems to be 0.22 cms.

We tried to adjust using Table Properties but after every refresh we are losing them.

We have Adjustable column Width “ON”

Also tried defining the name range “ETW_BORDER_WIDTH_DEFINITIONS” and it couldn’t solve the issue.

Not entirely sure whether i missed any step as i couldn't recollect i have similar problem in the past.

Regards,

Kalyan
