Inserts from Service Layer does not show log of modifications

What could be the reason why the insertions made from the Service Layer do not show a log of modifications? The version of SAP that I am using is 9.2 PL08

    Dear Mario Galeano,

This is not specific to Service Layer or DI API only.

"Change Log" is not shown even if the Deposit is created manually using SAP Business One Client.

Why it can't be seen, remains a question? You can raise an incident for SAP Business One Support Team for having an explanation for the same.

    Dear ANKIT CHAUHAN

If my question was about whether it is normal that I cannot see the log of modifications, in this case those that are inserts from the Service Layer

    • Dear Mario Galeano,

My question to you is can you see the "Change Log" if Deposit is created manually using SAP Business One Client?

If not, this is what I meant that it is not specific to Service Layer only. "Change Log" cannot be seen even if the Deposit is created manually using SAP Business One Client.

You can raise an incident for SAP Business One Support Team for having an explanation for the same. Because "Change Log" is available for other windows like Marketing Documents. SAP Business One Support Team can provide you an explanation whether it is intended or not.

      Kind regards,
