Fetch different time columns dynamically in bpc report

Hello,

We have a BPC report with TIMES as the driving dimension. I want to fetch this time period in one column of BPC report and in the next column I want to fetch last year time period. Eg. Current year is 2020.07 then next column should have 2019.07 and I want this to be dynamic? Is it possible to do it in BPC ? I am trying to include this in the same report. Below is the report structure:

Neha

    It's so simple:

Symmetrical means that if you have 2 categories and 2 times then you will have 4 colomns with all combinations of category and time.

You can always use EPMDimensionOverride to present 2 time members - one from context and another - calculated by Excel formula.

But as a result you will get a symmetrical report.

    • Thanks for revert!

Can you elaborate symmetrical report ?You mean I will have to create 2 separate reports ? I want this to be done in the same report.

With EPMDimensionOverride formula how do I pass 2 values for same dimension ? The excel formula will override my context value also then

Use a local member to bring the previous year, here is a link with some examples of how to use local members.
