S4 HANA PP Certification 1909

Dear Experts,

I am planning to take up the 1909 certification and for the same I have taken a learning hub access as well. But I am not sure if I am preparing the right way. There are 2 courses available with same certification code. 'SAP S4-HANA Manufacturing' and 'SAP S4-HANA Manufacturing-Upskilling for SAP ERP Experts'. Do I need to prepare for both. Inside them has set of courses S4H00,S4200....etc. Is just reading then enough or anything else I need to do? It will be very helpful if anyone can guide me.

In general - the upskilling courses are intended for consultants who already have experience with the setup of the functionality in SAP ERP (in your case with PP). It is also assumed (I think) that the attendees have a relatively recent certification for the corresponding module (the prerequisites for which version you need to have a certificate are usually specified in the exam page). This is a bit like a delta training.

The courses which are not marked as upskilling assume that the attendees do not have this prior knowledge, so they will have also some more introductory content in addition to the S/4HANA specifics.

No, you do not have to prepare for both, I assume that you have not attempted any SAP certifications so far, otherwise you would not be asking what is needed apart from reading the content.

As to the question - what you need to do: in addition to reading the documentation from the syllabus, it is recommended that you practice what you have learned in a test system, read additional documentation (if possible), try the example questions after the end of each unit and the sample questions for the certification exam. You repeat this until you feel confident with your knowledge. Then you prepare your PC or laptop for cloud certification (install the required software), you book an exam date and you do your best to answer the questions.
