SAP Analysis for Office 2.8 on SAP Analytics cloud can save the reports back to SAC platform ?

Hello,

I'm just wondering if using SAP Analysis for Office 2.8 on SAP Analytics cloud can save the reports back to SAC platform or at this point is only BOE platform ?

I know that we can connect live data models from SAC to Analysis for office, but want to know if those reports can be published in SAC Platform , so that clients don't need to have BOE platform.

Hello,
it is not possible to save an AfO Workbook back to SAC, but you could save it to BW or BOE and use the SAC Catalog as single point of entry for all kind of reports.

Hi Tammy, Currently we are using SAC stories based on the SCP HANA live models. Now we have a requirement to use details reports, where are looking for options if we use analysis office on SAP Analytics Cloud to save back to SAC Platform instead of BOE platform. Is it in the road map of SAP to get these reports saved in SAC platform ? Is there a Beta version of it ?

Hi - right now there is not a cloud repository for Analysis Office.

You can also save Analysis Office back to BW, if you are on the correct release.

I would recommend running at least 2.8 for Analysis Office; if this does not work I recommend opening a new thread as this is an old question
