SAP IBP + Issue with Mode of Transport configuration

Hello Experts,
Need help in Mode of Transport configuration. We are trying to enable this feature to our existing S&OP Planning solution.
We have followed all the steps mentioned in SAP help. Link has been shared below
- A> We have created a new master data: MODEOFTRANSPORT and assigned the same to planning area.
- B> We have added MOTIID as root attribute to PERPRODLOCCUST, PERPRODLOCLOCFR, PERPRODLOCTOLOC, PERPRODLOCCUSTAGG, PERPRODLOCLOCFRAGG, and PERPRODLOCTOLOCAGG base planning levels.
- C> If we just add it as additional attribute (not as Root attribute) then planning area activation throws an error.
We have deleted the existing master data and transaction data related to the KFs associated with planning levels mentioned above.
We have activated the planning area successfully.
New when we try to maintain value to some editable KF ( a KF at PERPRODLOCCUSTMOT level ) system is throwing an error:
Attribute(MOT1ID) is not expected in base planning level of key figure(CONSTRAINEDDEMAND).
Similar error is coming to all the KFs associated with that planning level. It seems that system is not ready to accept the new attribute MOTID as the base planning level for these KFs associated to the planning level PERPRODLOCCUST.
