Selection of IR type in SAP MM

Dear Community,

what is the meaning of below entries relevant to the Inspection Report Type (function ZE42)?

For example in case I have a NC report (not complete due to an open punch list to be closed later) what is the right entry to be selected?

If by function you meant transaction code

Transaction code ZE42 and all transactions starting with Z or Y, are specific to your system.

Contact your local support team for assistance and clarifications on ZE42.

It is also a good idea to go through the documentation which was provided to you and request user manuals, especially for the custom transactions for the topics which were not covered so far. 🙂

If by function you meant something else

It is hard to guess from where you took this list of possible values, you need to provide more information so that community members can try to help you. Still, it may be wiser to discuss the subject with your local support team, because, it seems that this is related to very specific processes in your company, it is safer to speak with people who know what is the setup, the business processes and the internal rules in your company.
