Line BOM- SO Documents

Hello Experts,

Please let me know how to check link between BOM and SO documents

Ex: I have few materials with BOM concept and sales orders also created.

Now, if we want to check sales orders which are created with BOM Materials, how to find out it.

VBAP table will not help as some of the sales orders got created with the same materials with out BOM concept.

Thanks

Venu

I am confused why you assume that VBAP is not going to help you find this information.

After all, in VBAP you have STKEY - origin of BOM, you have STLNR - bill of material.

Even if the user set manually some material as a lower level item in the sales order - STKEY and STLNR will be blank.

Edit: of course, if you use different item categories for manually added items and for exploded items it is even easier :)

Adding to that, for header material, you have null value in UEPOS whereas for component, it will be 10 which you can find in VBAP
