About variant dependency

Hi experts,

I'm a green hand in SAP, but I'm interested in the function of variant dependency. I want to know how to add formulars in variant dependency. for example y=a*x+b, how to creat this dependency. Also I want to study some basic knowledge about variant dependency, where can I find the basic materials. Thanks a lot.

Variant Configuration (LO-VC)

especially the paragraph concerning Object Dependency

Transaction code is CU01 for creating dependency.

Code for the example you quoted could be something like this:

$self.CHAR_Y = $self.CHAR_A * $self.CHAR_X + $self.CHAR_B.
