SAP WPB: How to publish the book with video as a SCORM package?

Hi experts.

How to publish the book as a SCORM package and make sure the video file is included in the export?

2. This is how the Publishing Rule, SCORM sections look like

Please answer: how can I make this video playable on our SAP Learning Solution, ESS system? As I understand it, everything is exported except the video itself. How do I export video either?

Hi Elnur,

I have been checking this and can reproduce the behavior, even with the newest SAP Enable Now cloud version. The video file is not exported with the SCORM. Let me check with our support and get back to you asap.

what I have found during testing is that when you link a video inside of a book page and then afterwards move the video inside of the workarea structure, the link breaks. If there is no reference (which you might not notice unless you check the video link) then the video will not be part of the SCORM export.

Please try to re-link the video after it is at its correct place in the structure and try to export the SCORM again. It should work now.

If you use media objects instead of .mp4 videos, the link will work fine even if you move the video. So please consider converting your videos to media objects to avoid this behaviour in the future.
