Rest Adapter (Basic auth/O-Auth 2.0) - Performance

Hi Team,

We will be implementing scenario in SAP PI 7.5 SP16 dual stack where we will be using rest adapter to do token based authentication.

We will be having around 20K to 25K calls daily to HTTPS authentication URL(API) to get token and we want to know which authentication type will be best looking at the performance i.e Basic auth or Oauth 2.0.

Kindly let us know suggestion considering above scenario.

I'm commenting from BASIS perspective, SAP PI NW 7.5 is no more a dual stack. You have first split the stacks in order to implement in production.
