Select Table Layout by SAP internal name

HI,

I want to change the table layout in transaction VA05 by using Sap internal table names (VBELN, ZZKUNWE, NAME1, ZZORTWE, BSTNK, EDATU,) Currently I'm able to do so only by name position but this can change depending on user default layot settings and there are duplicate Names hence the need to use Sap Internal names.

session.findById("wnd[0]").maximize session.findById("wnd[0]/tbar[1]/btn[32]").press session.findById("wnd[1]/usr/tabsG_TS_ALV/tabpALV_M_R1/ssubSUB_DYN0510:SAPLSKBH:0620/cntlCONTAINER1_LAYO/shellcont/shell").currentCellRow = 5 session.findById("wnd[1]/usr/tabsG_TS_ALV/tabpALV_M_R1/ssubSUB_DYN0510:SAPLSKBH:0620/cntlCONTAINER1_LAYO/shellcont/shell").selectedRows = "5" session.findById("wnd[1]/usr/tabsG_TS_ALV/tabpALV_M_R1/ssubSUB_DYN0510:SAPLSKBH:0620/btnAPP_WL_SING").press session.findById("wnd[1]/usr/tabsG_TS_ALV/tabpALV_M_R1/ssubSUB_DYN0510:SAPLSKBH:0620/cntlCONTAINER1_LAYO/shellcont/shell").currentCellRow = 10 session.findById("wnd[1]/usr/tabsG_TS_ALV/tabpALV_M_R1/ssubSUB_DYN0510:SAPLSKBH:0620/cntlCONTAINER1_LAYO/shellcont/shell").selectedRows = "10" session.findById("wnd[1]/usr/tabsG_TS_ALV/tabpALV_M_R1/ssubSUB_DYN0510:SAPLSKBH:0620/btnAPP_WL_SING").press session.findById("wnd[1]/usr/tabsG_TS_ALV/tabpALV_M_R1/ssubSUB_DYN0510:SAPLSKBH:0620/cntlCONTAINER1_LAYO/shellcont/shell").currentCellRow = 6 session.findById("wnd[1]/usr/tabsG_TS_ALV/tabpALV_M_R1/ssubSUB_DYN0510:SAPLSKBH:0620/cntlCONTAINER1_LAYO/shellcont/shell").selectedRows = "6" session.findById("wnd[1]/usr/tabsG_TS_ALV/tabpALV_M_R1/ssubSUB_DYN0510:SAPLSKBH:0620/btnAPP_WL_SING").press

Thanks

  • In the screen used for selecting the columns of the table (the list of columns is in an ALV grid where each line is the name of a column), don't you have an option in the context menu (in the middle of the screen) to display the technical names? If so, you'll have to loop at the lines of the ALV grid, and test these technical names to select them.
