CTM Performance improvement Guidlines

What are the best ways to reduce the run Time of CTM. Because of the complexity of our planning process, we have to run 100+ CTM profiles as part of the planning batch process which takes 7-8 hours which is affecting the business hours.

Any recommendations to reduce the run time of the CTM batch will highly appreciated.

    Also do you run CTM in active version 000?

    How much is data selection in CTM what is a run time for a CTM run?

    What is version of CTM?

    The CTM engine runtime depends on several variables:

    • Hardware
    • Settings
    • Input data

    Under 'General Customizing', you can use the global CTM Customizing setting 'Asynchronous liveCache Upd.' to specify the number of demands after whose planning the relevant orders are written back.
