Hi All,

Currently we are using Datahub 1905 version. We are facing initial load data (sapcoreconfiguration) is clean in datahub every month in production env.

In every month we will poupulate the sapcoreconfiguration data (sales org, distrbution etc) from hybris to datahub.

I have check OOTB, PerformDataRetentionCleanupEvent is trigger for retention for data pools and its clear the item types which are archive or error state. But SAPBasestore config is always success state.

Is any one know, why initial data is cleared in datahub.

Please help me.

Thanks in Advance.

Best Regards,

Venkat

Hi Venkata Naga Kumar,

This is a DataHub's bug: https://cxjira.sap.com/browse/ECP-3495

Each DataHub pool has "Deletable" flag which defines if retention cleanup mechanism can delete data in this pool or not. Due to DataHub bug, SAPCONFIGURATION_POOL's deletable flag sets to "true" on each server start so it's data deletes on retention cleanup.

The issue was fixed in 1905.13 patch version so you need to upgrade your DataHub to this (or higher) version to get rid of this problem.

Another solution is to disable retention clean up by adding property datahub.retention.cleanup.enabled=false, but this might cause performance issues, regarding to this document: https://help.sap.com/viewer/50c996852b32456c96d3161a95544cdb/1905/en-US/a3c9a3e9bc1347f7bee5fac568d7...

Dear Venkata Naga Kumar,

Unfortunately, it seems to be taking longer than usual for your question to be answered. You might want to try an alternative route to speed things up.

Please check if a similar question has already been asked in the Community. We have found that sometimes questions that have been answered before are no longer receiving responses.

The easiest way to do this, is to visit the All Questions page and search for your specific topic.

You could also check the SAP Support Portal and search for SAP Notes, SAP Knowledge Base Articles and more.

If all of this doesn’t work, I would suggest that you create a support ticket. All you need to do is log onto the SAP Support Portal with your S-user ID and password: http://service.sap.com/message

Thanks,

Marvin
