Are advanced formulas in data actions reuseable, means: can they be saved as common code base or as code part for other advanced formulas (like ABAP includes or ABAP function modules or class methods) ?

I saw a "Nested Data Actions" feature on the roadmap... let's hope SAP publishes more about this soon. It's definitely not code.. it's simplified (limited) scripting language.

Hi Martin, Data Actions in SAC are like "PLANNING SEQUENCE" in standard BPC and individual steps in Data Action are like "PLANNING FUNCTIONS". Data Action is tied to default SAC Planning model.

So, that means you can't use same Data Action in other models or data actions. You can copy & paste relevant code or script for Script based Data Action steps. Refer to https://help.sap.com/viewer/00f68c2e08b941f081002fd3691d86a7/release/en-US/2850221adef14958a4554ad28...

Thanks
