Restricting Subtypes dynamically in Fiori App

Hello everyone,

We are implementing Standard Fiori apps in HCM (My Family Members and My Communications) where Client wants some enhancement. One of the place where we are stuck is restricting/hiding Subtypes based on Employee subgroup (PERSG). These apps are standard apps with standard Odata and cannot be modified. So, Is there any BAdi that can be used to hide these subtypes at runtime or some workaround to control Subtypes.

Don't want to control through standard table as it will affect other functionality.

In below example - Domestic Partner and Child is not required.

Thanks.

    Hi,

You can explore the various extension points provided for the two FIORI applications from FIORI Apps Library.

For My Family Members (FIORI 2.0) - I can see that there are Display and Edit extension points based on country. Additionally, there is also an extension point in the Controller, through which Custom code can be implemented. For more details, please check this link.

Similarly, for My Communication Data (FIORI 2.0) - I can see similar view and controller extension points. For more details, please check the this link.

If there is a specific section you do not want, then using View Modification you can set visibility as false based on control id.

Do let me know in case you need any further information.

    Best Regards,

    Rohit
