When to say S4 and when to say P11

People generally refer to an ERP by saying "S4" system.....I just wanted to know what is the right thing to use? Shouldn't it be the system name "P11"?

    With the risk of embarrassing myself in public - people use S4 is a short name for S/4HANA.

    What you mean by P11 - I have no idea... looks like a system ID.

    Edit: ERP is a way more generic term, it will be wrong to assume that when people talk of ERP that this must be about S4. SAP is one of the software vendors who provide ERP software and S/4HANA is just one of the ERP software solutions offered by SAP.
