WEBI Reports: Disable User Rights (Modifying document properties)

Hello experts,

Is there a way to disable a USER of being able to modify report -> Document -> Properties OR Document settings overall without restricting him to modify the structure/adding filters into the Report?

You can hide some of the features in the modify by customizing the UI for the group or specific user.

Hello Jawahar Konduru,

I found what I was looking for. I identified the Group that has access on folder 'X'. I customized the interface and removed the "Properties Tab" from the "Design Mode Toolbar". After I copied a report there, and opened it ... the Properties Tab is still there and accessible. Do you know what could cause this malfunction?

Found the reason why it didn't work:

Customization has to be done on highest Group level for the child folder. Cannot be done on child group for the child folder.
