Connection Reset Issue while running tables in HANA

Hello All,

Greetings!

We are facing connection issues in one of our Hana systems for a few of tables. They are running fine when running them individually on Local Studio. However, if we try to run them on Talend, we are getting the below error:

Connection to database server lost; check server and network status [System error: Connection reset] com.sap.db.jdbc.exceptions.SQLNonTransientConnectionExceptionSapDB: Connection to database server lost; check server and network status [System error: Connection reset]

Could anyone help us out here? Is it a HANA backend issue or some network issue from Talend side? Our HANA version is 2.0 SPS03 Stack Revision 7.

Hi Debajan,

I don't think it is SAP HANA issue,if you are able to connect to HANA DB using studio same time when you are getting above error from Talend.

Please check at Talend end and also with network connectivity port etc...

Hello Atul,

Sorry for the late reply.

We have checked in our HANA instance, there are no issues there. Even in our OS logs we could not find any issues yet. However, the issue occurred today as well for one view. The data is loading from a HANA instance into an MS SQL DB. So, we are guessing the SQL DB might be having some problems.
Also, this issue is not confined to a group of tables or views. It is occurring randomly on some view or the other almost everyday. So, we are a bit confused. Do you have any other advise?

Thanks & Best Regards,

Debanjan

Hi Debanjan,

If this is random in nature than it should be checked from Netwrok point.could you please check from your network admin for trace and capture it.

Check error trace from hana as well.

Best Regards,

Atul
