Hi,
i try to add a HANA System at the SAP HANA Administration Console in Eclipse.
If I use the connection with the wrong password it looks like the connection works:
If I use the correct password I get the following message
java.lang.NoClassDefFoundError: javax/xml/soap/SOAPException
I am using Eclipse version 2020-03 and the problem also occurred with the old version. Do any of you have an idea to solve the problem?
Regards Oliver
Hello Oliver,
Could you kindly clean/uninstall any installation you have for HANA Studio and try installing it again? Ensure you're following:
Also, refer below KBAs, they might help you:
1. 2791513 - Support for HANA Tools for Eclipse
2. 2897417 - HANA Studio installation failed with error java exit code = 13
3. 2897410 - HANA Installation Error SAPNewDBMDXProvider.dll
Note: Please be aware that Studio has problems operating with JAVA versions higher than JAVA 8, therefore make sure that your eclipse is running on versions <= 8. To identify which JAVA version your Eclipse is using, please refer to this guide.
Regards, Himanshi
