Non-conformance maangement in sap qm

Has anyone have idea how to use this functionality non-conformance management which is present in sap qm 1909 . Example with some business cases will be really helpful.

I am just curious to understand where can this functionality be used and how it can be used. As this is present in SAP S4HANA 1909 version only.
