BOBJ Connections folder in CMC

I have added a new user group at top-level security (new group not shown below) for Connections in CMC in Dev.

How do I promote this change to QA and Prod? Can it be promoted with Promotion Manager or you need to manually apply it QA and Prod or it gets applied automatically when I promote the new group? I am in BOBJ 4.2 SP5.
