how to remove Administrator group from Everyone group - SAP BOBJ 4.2 SP5

We have moved the Administrator group to Everyone group by mistake and now cannot remove the Administrator group out of Everyone group. Please advise on how best to do that. We are on SAP BOBJ 4.2 SP 5.

Thanks

Abdul

    Are you using The Administrator to login to CMC ?

    Do you have CMS DB backup prior to this change ?

    Yes, login as Admin.

    It happened in the dev environment.

    We probably do have an older backup and we have added new objects in dev that may not be part of the backup.

    Is it possible to restore it by making a BIAR file from QA (or dev itself) and bringing it into dev?

    I have elevated the Everyone group's rights to Full Control so the administrator has the rights inherited from it. The admin group still has all the rights (I believe) since I didn't change the rights.

    What is my recourse at this point?

    Thanks, Denis. But can we not restore it from CMS DB backup?

    What would be the process;

    1- to restore the CMS DB at the backend (no change required on BOBJ side) Or

    2-From BOBJ point to the backup CMS DB

    Is there a preferred way one over the other?

    Thanks
