I have an external web site which has links to BO reports using OpenDocument.jsp. The issue I am having is that if the user does not have access rights to the document, it takes more than 60 seconds for the OpenDocument.jsp to return the error. I am wondering if I can use the Java SDK to validate the user has read permissions on the document prior to clicking on the OpenDocument.jsp so I can avoid this 1+ minute hang when the user doesn't have the necessary permissions.
