Mail sent but note received by user

In SOST transaction,i could see E-mail sent as successful and actually customer have not received the mail.

My question is don't the Mail exchange server communicate SAP back to SAP stating various reason of failure(Ex Wrong E-mail id,attachment size etc)

Is there possibility to get a report of failed E-mails even though it is successful in SOST.

Thanks,

MP

    Hello Pradeep Mani

Request your recipient to check their spam folders or if they have rules setup in their outlook to move an incoming message to a subfolder.

If you are using a generic - non-existent email address such as do_not_reply@domain.com; you should ensure your exchange admins are okay with it.

There are attachment size limitations setup by your exchange administrator and such emails will error out and you can see them in SOST under the error bucket.

The exchange logs are massive and you are looking for a needle in a hay stack. Getting a report from the exchange logs is near impossible to get unless you are on a compliance fact finding mission. Try to request a report from the exchange admins and see what response you get back.
