Batch Classification copy from component material to Header Material

Hi Gurus,

Requirement to do copy of batch classification from component batch to header batch in process order during GR. I don't want to use Batch derivation option to avoid records maintenance.

What are these enhancements or user exit which i can use for this requirement (Batch Classification copy, Batch header data copy, AT GR of process order)?

Hello,

You can use exit like MBCFC003 or MBCFC004 - Function module EXIT_SAPMM07M_003 and 004 to copy the batch characteristic with your own logic.

Hi,

I have given same user exit to my development team but they are not able to assign classification means breakthrough at what they can assign same classification.

I am exploring more on same.

Hello,

The Flag XKCFC Extended classification must be checked for the relevant Movement 101 to allow MIGO Transaction to execute Customer Function Call EXIT_SAPMM07M_004 to dynamic characteristic value assignment for batches.
