Failed to retrieve the cube for connection BEX query on BI 4.2 SP6 P4

"Failed to retrieve the cube for connection" when connecting to Bex query. Our BW version is SAP BW 7.3

Steps to Reproduce Error

1. Open report and refresh. Get error message "Failed to retrieve the cube for connection".

2. Refresh again. Report runs successfully.

OR

1. Schedule report. When trying to modify prompt, get error message "Failed to retrieve the cube for connection".

OR

1. Create new report based on same OLAP connection for same BEx query, it fails with same error.

Only Few users are facing this issue.

Same connection they can access from AFO. But when connected from webi connecting to Bex query getting error.

We have restarted SIA and servers as well as checked his authorization from BO and BW and it is as required.

Could you please help us.

I have fixed your tags to better match the subject of your question.
Also, it would help community if you provide the troubleshooting you have already done and what your analysis of the logs has shown.

User can access same Bex query from AFO. As well as can run query from BW side.

We have tried to change the preferences of webi as Applet and then access Bex query, same issue persist. We have checked authorization from BO side as well as from BW end and its perfect. Also same connection when tried to open with web Rich client getting error.

We have restarted the SIA and servers as mentioned in SAP note.

Asked user to reset his password. Still No luck.

Try to do change data source and re point to the same bex query and check again still ur facing that issue
