How to document a universe (the data dictionary) in IDT

Hello,

Using IDT, I created a universe. I wish to generate a data dictionnary containing

object name

path

description

sql select

etc...

to provide end users (report builders) a file so that they know what each object does. Is there a way to generate such a file in IDT?

in the IDT-local projects->right click on business layer->save as and save the required meta data file in your machine.

Do you know how to do this programatically with the help of Java SL SDK or RESTFul API's.If you can help me with sample code that would be helpful.
