Conversion error in CPI to post data in RFC

Dear Experts,

We have a scenario where data is being posted to a RFC in SAP R/3 system, from CPI, using a RFC adapter. Connectivity is established via Cloud Connector.

We are receiving the below errors in CPI, we understand sending some value for PESO instead of space and an integer instead of float for VALOR will resolve the issue, but when we send the same data from PO 7.5 to the RFC, the message is processed successfully, so we are trying to understand why the middlewares are behaving differently and from where exactly we are getting this error (the R/3 system or Cloud Connector or CPI).

Did you face this issue? Could you kindly provide your inputs here?

1. com.sap.it.rt.adapter.rfc.exceptions.RFCLibraryException: Error in executing RFC Function, cause: com.sap.conn.jco.ConversionException: (122) JCO_ERROR_CONVERSION: Value ' ' cannot be converted to NUM type at field PESO

2. com.sap.it.rt.adapter.rfc.exceptions.RFCLibraryException: Error in executing RFC Function, cause: com.sap.conn.jco.ConversionException: (122) JCO_ERROR_CONVERSION: Value '264.40' cannot be converted to NUM type at field VALOR
