SAP usage in Canada- Ontario

Hello everyone,

I am a CPA. I am new to SAP or any other high end software. My end goal is to work at any government organization- Municipalities, Transit, Metro.

I am wondering which software is used at such organization- SAP or Oracle?

My second question is what should be my starting point if I want to learn SAP and become SAP certified. My current employer won’t pay for anything.

I would really appreciate any advice. Thanks in advance.
