We have sold a machine to a customer on a part number which has a BOM. This includes number of sub-parts. One of the parts is to be refurbished after its service life. We cannot receive the part on it's original part number since value of that part has changed in the sap system during annual cost run.
so we generated a new part number of the same component for repair purpose with value 1 rupee for costing purpose.
For the refurbished part we generated a new part number with a BOM containing the repair kit.
How do I do the goods receipt in sap for this new part which we never sold to customer.
Since it is a consumable part, I can't bring it here on returnable documents.
Please suggest a course of action.
