Make an input field read-only

hi. i want to make a field in dialoge screen read-only. so the user will be able to give just the values from search help. any help? (NOT WEB-DYNPRO)

Hi Mustafa,

Just create a flavor for the transaction code you want, select the input field, then, in the "Home" tab of the Personas editor, select "More Options", then "Read only".

Save the flavor and test.

I just tested with SU01, making read only the User ID field. Even though typing is not allowed, the F4 help works, enabling only F4 entries to be used.
