Lumira save story; update dataset

Hi,

We are currently developing a story in Lumira and it has 5 pages. Our challenge is that our data source (an AWS Redshift cluster) is updated once in awhile with schema changes, modified data types, etc...

Everytime we need to create a new dataset and recreate all visuals. I hope there is a better workflow and that someone can show us a more efficient approach.

Can existing stories be saved and the underlying data set be changed?

We understand that it may require some rework for new/different columns but we don't want to start all over for a minor schema change.

Thanks in advance for the suggestions with a better, more productive workflow.

Hi Jules

If the underlying data format changes, then the best you can expect is for Lumira to ask you to map the data field, at worst the Document rendering will fail.

BTW., if you are not using Patch 3 (Lumira 1.31.3.x) I'd highly recommend you update to that version.
